According to recent market research, 22% of businesses that use computer aided drafting (CAD) technology also employ large format copiers.  This is especially true for civil and structural engineering sites that have 40% usage while, at the low end, electrical engineering shops show only 13% penetration.  Larger sites (those with more than 5,000 employees) are also much more likely to use larger copiers (38%) as are sites with over 100 CAD seats (43%).  Although nearly 20% of those surveyed did not know what brand of copier their company used, of those that gave a response, almost 60% chose market leader Xerox or their close competitor Oce.
