I must admit, I was a little bit concerned when I bought my Amazon Kindle reader and had it shipped to the UK. You need to buy them from the main Amazon U.S. website, which is okay. You can’t use a standard debit card, only a credit card is accepted, but that’s not a big problem. My main concerns were shipping time and whether or not my wireless would work. In the end, it arrived six days after it was ordered (two of which were over the weekend) and the wireless worked fine. I was downloading Kindle books from the Amazon web store within a matter of minutes.
