Recently I took a computer programming class at the adult learning center in my neighborhood. It was quite an eye opening experience. There were several people there from various different backgrounds. One thing I learned was about this new threat called that pretends to be a helpful program. One example is something called ms antispyware. This is “free” software that gets on your computer. It preloads these “fake” virus’ and then scans your computer and finds them. You then have to pay for the whole version to get rid of these so called “threats.” I’m glad I went to that seminar, because I’m just the kind of guy that would fall for something like this.
