Why we need solar heated bird baths in our climate.
Shopping and Product Reviews July 13th. 2010, 2:05amMy wife and I have a real passion for backyard birding and have quite an array of bird feeders, bird houses, bird baths, feeding stations etc, in fact probably way to much, but it is a fun and very relaxing form of entertainment. However we do have one problem where we live, Alaska. You see even it summer it gets cold up here, cold enough that it’s freezing the water in our birdbaths. I saw online though a neat idea, a solar heated birdbath that I think will be just the ticket for us up here, as despite getting darn cold, one thing we do have in summer is long long days, so we’ll have no problem getting the solar energy these need.
