My mother had started to have more and more health problems, and had been in the hospital for some time. She had worked very hard to improve as much as she could, and we knew that she would be released to come home soon. She was coming to terms with the fact that she was not going to have as much independence and mobility as she was used to having previously. We were looking at electric wheel chairs and were working to find one that had the best features for the cheapest price. There were many details to get into place, but we were making progress.
