My heating unit is in dire need of replacement and I’m scared it is going to go out during a cold spell. My house is old and poorly insulated so we cannot go without heat for any length of time. I am looking into using boilers for heat as I have heard they are very energy efficient and can save me money. I like the conventional type and my only concern is the cost of installation. I have heard it can be expensive, yet this may be offset by my energy savings. Calculating that is way beyond my ability so I may ask for help from a friend who loves math.
