My best friend just came over for coffee and muffins. She was really discouraged because she has just failed at another one of those advertised quick weight loss diet plans. I know how that feels because I’ve tried some of them myself. The first few weeks the weight comes off like layers of clothing, and then you have a few bad days, and it all piles back on while you are sleeping. It’s very frustrating, to say the least. I told her that maybe she needs to just settle down with a healthy-eating, proven plan and let the pounds come off a little slower as her body adjusts.
