I could not get my head around the fact that it had been 5 years since our last re-union. 5 whole years since my wife and I had seen some of our best friends from college. For the last 20 years we have all been catching up in different parts of the world and now the time had come again. This time they were coming to us down in the South Pacific. With 8 couples arriving I was under pressure to find some cheap car hire places to provide transport for everyone. I managed to sort this, as well as the 8 rooms at Bed and Breakfasts around town.

National Park Vacations

Life in the city – daily routine, commuting to and back from work, etc. may get to you at times. If you are looking for an outlet, an outdoor family vacation is an answer to it. National Parks like Yellowstone (Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana), Yosemite (California), the Grand Canyon (Arizona), Crater Lake, Death Valley, Glacier Bay, etc. provide countless opportunities to revel in the abundance of nature. The Rocky Mountain National Park is one such destination worth considering. It provides adventure opportunities with all sorts of climbing, fly-fishing, snowshoeing, skiing, backpacking, hiking, wildlife viewing, and bird watching, all in the backdrop of breathtaking scenery.

I am still thinking about a lot of things right now. Well we know of course that there are just so many things that we need to handle right now. Thinking about going on a vacation and all that is good but I think that we also have to take into consideration the amount needed to have everything working well. I must say that having to buy timeshare resort is something that I am hesitating though. I mean, I would have really wanted to buy timeshare resort but I am thinking that it will not be something that I could afford. I am just hoping though that I would get to buy timeshare resort really soon so that I would also be able to relax and all that.

Last year for spring break, a group of us from school decided to go to Florida. They put me in charge of finding us a place to stay. I found a company that offers luxury vacation rentals and was able to get us a fairly good rate. The rentals were all very gorgeous, but I decided on the one that looked like a masterpiece. When we arrived, it was even more beautiful than the pictures had shown. Everyone had a great time and they loved the property that we stayed in. They have already decided that I am in charge again next year.

My husband and I paid for our parents to go to Mundy’s B+B in Butlersbridge, Cavan for the weekend because we always enjoy it so much. We knew they would love it too because it is so beautiful and cozy. They called us the first evening after they arrived and kept thanking us for sending them there. They ended up having a great weekend together fishing, playing golf, and just relaxing. I am glad they finally got to experience what I have been telling them for so long. They have already booked another trip for next month with some of their friends.

I have a high pressure job where I am expected to not only produce big results, but also work over 80 hours every week.  While I love it and even sometimes remark that I thrive on stress and drama, sometimes I just need to get away.  When I decided to find a serene and very quiet place for my holiday this year, I looked around and saw a Faro Property.  The reason I chose to go there is that it offered the peace and quiet I needed, and I had nice proximity to activities that I would enjoy if I decided to get out.

One of my best friends from College was going to be coming to town for a visit. I had agreed to help him out and organize a couple of things for him. I had guessed that he had not changed much since college and would still be looking for the cheap car hire, cheap flights and anything else he can find for a bargain. We use to have a joke about the moths escaping from his wallet because of how he would never like to pay for anything. Somehow though, he still always managed to get rounds bought for him at the bar.

With many of the hotel chains offering free nights if you book a certain number of days ahead of time it is very possible to find a budget hotel in New York City. With fewer people traveling for business or pleasure there are absolute steals if you are tenacious in your research and are flexible with your schedule. Peak days and holidays will never be cheaper but all the rest are up for grabs. That will save money for the important things to do in the Big Apple…eating and shopping!

I usually play golf as a way to relax after a long day. I don’t know what it is about the sport, but it relaxes me. When I choose a vacation spot, I usually try to find one that has a golf course. Well, I did some research online and found Hilton Head Vacation Rentals located in Hilton Head, South Carolina. I looked on their website and saw beautiful golf courses that were located on the island. I immediately became so excited and ordered a plane ticket to South Carolina. When I arrived in Hilton Head, I felt like I was in Heaven!

My husband and I are going away for our sixth wedding anniversary. I have been trying to decide where to stay while we rest from one traveling day to the next. I think we may just stop at any one of the cheap hotels located on I-90, as we head down to Georgia. I am not too interested in spending a fortune just to have a place to lay my head for a few hours. Any money we don’t spend on the trip down, is more money we have to spend while we are in Georgia. I can’t wait to spend the whole weekend alone with my hubby.
