However, the spacecraft would land perfectly in the Vastitas Borealis Plains within the Martian Arctic Circle. This mission had been planned since the Mars Odyssey detected frozen water below the planet’s surface in 2002. The Phoenix Mars landing is at a latitude comparable to that of northern Alaska on Earth.

I just landed a really great job with a lot of traveling the country and a few perks added in there as well. Although I don’t regularly find myself in California and haven’t been to Disneyland in years, I was recently there on business on a trip that happened to occur on my birthday.  We stayed at the Anaheim Marriott Hotel where we were able to take a shuttle over to Disneyland for only a couple of dollars each and I was able to experience Disney for free!  It was a great way to spend my birthday even if I was on the road for my job.  I was excited that Disneyland offered such a fun perk on my birthday that kept me from feeling bored and lonely on my special day. 

It is a question that friends and I have been debating a lot lately as we plan our next trip away together. Do we go for ultra luxurious accommodation on our one and only holiday of the year or are we better off looking at cheap hotels? Definitely from the financial point of view it’s a no brainer. My bank account would much prefer the cheap option. But I suppose it comes down to what you mean by ‘cheap’. There are certain standards that even a cheap hotel shouldn’t drop below (I tried ultra cheap in San Francisco once – I don’t recommend it).
