How many times have you gone to the freezer before you go to bed, grab a piece of meat and place it in the refrigerator to defrost overnight, only to find that it has severe freezer burn on it when you go to cook it?  Here you are at 5:00 in the afternoon, and nothing to cook.  I guess it’s another pizza night!  Didn’t we have pizza last night?  Oh how I wish someone would invent an automatic freezer burn detector.  I think I might even be willing to go halves on the cost of the patents, it would sure save me the cost of wasted meats.
