My daughter just took her first guitar lesson today. She said that so far she really liked it, but that her fingers hurt already. Her teacher told her that we were really smart to look at used guitars instead of brand new, and he said that we got a really good deal. I asked my daughter to show me what she had learned today and she explained about the different notes for the strings and showed me two chords that she learned how to play. She already knows how to read music because she played piano for a little while, and then gave up. I hope she sticks with guitar.
