If you are teaching music, then using Music Theory Worksheets is just a part of your every day life. Some teachers don’t put much of a focus on this, preferring to teach more creative skills, improvisation and composition. However the lack of basics and fundamentals is a big problem for many students. They do need to know how to read the dots, and often as teachers we forget and assume that they know a lot more than they do. Just because some computer programs make it far easier to do, and inputting notes into a notation program is much more simple than using a pencil and paper we just need to make sure that they do retain the knowledge of fundamentals.
